Soccer!

Soccer is a big thing in our house.  Both of our boys play in a local recreation soccer league and we love attending REAL soccer games as a family.  As part of the recreation soccer fee, we could opt in to purchase discount tickets for the boys.  We decided to do so and this past Saturday was the night of the game.

The REAL soccer team seemed to be having a harder time this game.  They ended up tying the game during the added minutes at the end.  We all had a fun time together and hope to be able to go to another game soon.

Family Game Night

We love to play games as a family.  On Sundays, we usually spend the afternoon and evening playing various games with each other.

Star Wars

We just got back a picture that was from the carnival. They had people dressed as Star Wars characters there and a Star Wars backdrop for pictures to be taken with the Star Wars characters. Brandon didn't want to be in the picture, I think he was a bit scared of them, but Edward was all for it -- as long as I was in the picture as well. Here it is:

We are all into Star Wars, so it was pretty fun to have a picture taken with Star Wars characters.  Kevin didn't get to be in the picture since Brandon didn't want to be in it.  He had to be off to the side away from the scary guys.  Kevin's one of the biggest Star Wars fans I know.  He especially loves reading all the books in the Star Wars genre.

Carnival Fun

This past Saturday our family spent the day at a carnival.  It was a lot of fun for the entire family.  After the carnival we went to Pizza Factory for dinner.  We love the weekends when we can spend time together as a family.

We Hope to Adopt

We are creating this blog for expectant mothers who are considering to make an adoption plan for their baby to get to know our family a bit more than our letter to them can possibly show.  We will have pictures of our family outings and cute little stories about our family.  We hope that any expectant mother reading this blog will be drawn into our home and feel like she's a part of our family.
